9 decimals · u64-safe. This launcher uses 9 decimals. SPL stores supply in a 64-bit unsigned integer (u64): 1 billion tokens at 9 decimals fits, but at EVM’s common 18 decimals it overflows. At 18 decimals, the limit is about 18.44 whole tokens; SPL does not require 9 decimals for every token.
